Ladybird Ladybird Fly Away Home - Nursery Rhyme
This traditional verse is about ladybirds, brightly coloured insects known for bringing good luck. The English version dates back to at least 1744, appearing in Tommy Thumb's Pretty Songbook Vol. 2.
I hope you enjoy listening to this poem. I enjoyed illustrating and animating the cute ladybird.
Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home!
Your house is on fire, your children all gone,
All but one, who's name is Ann,
And she crept under the pudding pan.
